This tutorial provides an introduction to the randomized complete block design (RCBD) and the analysis of data from a RCBD experiment using SAS.

Introduction

The randomized complete block design (RCBD) is a standard design for agricultural experiments in which similar experimental units are grouped into blocks or replicates. It is used to control variation in an experiment by, for example, accounting for spatial effects in field or greenhouse. The defining feature of the RCBD is that each block sees each treatment exactly once.

In the event that the slideshare tutorial does not work, the tutorial is also attached as a pdf at the bottom of the page.
