The availability of the potato genome sequence via the efforts of the Potato Genome Sequencing Consortium (http://potatogenome.net) has and will continue to revolutionize potato breeding approaches. This webinar will introduce you to the methods used to determine the potato genome sequence, quality issues associated with draft genome sequence and annotation, and how to access the potato genome sequence. Methods to search the potato genome for a related sequence are demonstrated including available tools and data interpretation. An overview of the Potato Genome Browser, its tools and availability are provided.
You can view the webinar below or at the solCAP website.
